Ty Middleton

Ty Middleton is the Director of Education and Workforce Development at the Cybersecurity for Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CyManII), a Department of Energy funded institute. The primary focus of CyManII’s workforce development program is to provide small to medium manufacturers and emerging students entering the workforce with operational technology training and solutions to bridge the existing skills and IT/OT gaps in the industry.  With over 15 years of industry experience, Ty has an extensive background in developing and leading Organizational Development, Workforce Planning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Education & Learning programs. 

Ty, a former US Army Tactical and Logistics Officer, has a Master’s in Business Administration, is a certified Human Resources Professional, Executive Coach, Organizational Development Coach and Organizational Change Manager.  Ty lives in Austin and is currently pursuing her PhD in Education, with a concentration on Organizational Leadership.
